Miles McFly Age | Who Is Brooke Schofield’s Partner?
If you searched for Miles McFly age, the most accurate answer is that his exact age has not been firmly established by a reliable public source. Several online biographies place his birth year around 1987, which would make him approximately 38 or 39 in 2026, but that figure should be treated as an estimate rather than a confirmed biographical fact.
Miles McFly is the name widely associated with Miles Canton, who became publicly known through his relationship with internet personality and Cancelled co-host Brooke Schofield. Their relationship became public in late 2024, and Schofield announced their engagement in June 2025.
Because Miles keeps a considerably lower profile than Schofield, information about his birthday, childhood, education and career is surprisingly limited. This distinction matters: a number of websites repeat specific details about his age and background without providing strong evidence for them.
Miles McFly Quick Facts
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Name commonly reported | Miles Canton |
| Known online as | Miles McFly |
| Age in 2026 | Approximately 38–39, according to reported birth-year estimates |
| Exact birthday | Not reliably confirmed publicly |

| Relationship with Brooke Schofield | Publicly linked since late 2024 |

The estimated age should not be confused with a confirmed birth date. The available sources do not establish an exact birthday with the same confidence that Brooke Schofield’s November 26, 1996 birth date is documented.
Who Is Miles McFly?
Miles McFly is the name used publicly for Miles Canton, the person who became widely recognizable after his relationship with Brooke Schofield entered the public conversation.
Unlike Brooke, who built her career through TikTok, YouTube and podcasting, Miles has generally stayed away from the center of influencer culture. Coverage of their relationship repeatedly describes him as private and notes that relatively little verified information is available about his professional and personal life.
That limited public footprint is one reason searches for his age and biography produce conflicting results. Once a person’s age appears on one entertainment or biography website, other sites may repeat it without independently establishing the underlying information.
For that reason, a careful Miles McFly bio should separate what is documented from what is merely repeated online.
How Old Is Miles McFly?
The reported age
The most commonly repeated estimate places Miles Canton around 38–39 years old in 2026, based on a reported birth year of approximately 1987.
But there is an important qualification: an exact date of birth has not been reliably confirmed in the sources reviewed for this profile.
That means searches such as “Miles McFly birthday” should not automatically be answered with a specific month and day. Publishing an exact birthday without solid sourcing would turn an uncertain internet claim into an apparent fact.
Why his age is difficult to verify
Miles has not developed the kind of public-facing career that normally produces detailed biographies, interviews and official profiles. Much of the information available about him has appeared because of his relationship with Brooke Schofield rather than because of his own entertainment career.
Some online discussions have also attempted to calculate his age from photographs, old social-media posts or claims about past relationships. Those methods are not reliable enough to establish a birth date.
So the responsible answer is:
Miles McFly is widely reported to be around 38–39 years old in 2026, but his exact age and birthday have not been independently established through a strong public source.
Is Miles McFly Really Miles Canton?
Yes. Entertainment coverage about Brooke Schofield’s relationship identifies her partner as Miles Canton, while also referring to him as Miles McFly. HerCampus and other outlets have used both names when discussing the couple.
The distinction is useful because searches for “Miles Canton” and “Miles McFly” can otherwise appear to concern different people.
The name McFly also creates an obvious connection to Back to the Future, but the exact reason Miles uses the name should not be overstated. Public biographies commonly suggest that it references the franchise, particularly because of his reported family connection to its producer, Neil Canton. Famous Birthdays similarly describes the online handle as possibly being a nod to Marty McFly.
Unless Miles himself has publicly explained the name’s origin, the safest wording is that it appears to reference the Back to the Future character rather than presenting the explanation as a confirmed statement from him.
Why Is He Called “McFly”?
The surname naturally attracts attention because Marty McFly is the central character of the Back to the Future movies.
The connection is especially notable because Miles Canton is reported to be the son of film producer Neil Canton, whose producing credits include the Back to the Future films.
That gives the McFly nickname an understandable pop-culture association, but readers should distinguish between two separate facts:
- Miles Canton is commonly identified online as Miles McFly.
- The precise reason he chose that name has not been clearly documented in a primary statement from Miles.
In other words, the Back to the Future connection is well established around his family background, while the exact motivation behind his online name remains less certain.
Who Is Neil Canton, Miles McFly’s Father?
Neil Canton is a Hollywood film producer associated with several major movies, including the Back to the Future trilogy.
Miles Canton is widely reported to be his son. Famous Birthdays identifies Neil Canton as Miles’ father, while entertainment coverage surrounding Brooke Schofield’s engagement has made the same family connection.
This family connection is also why the McFly name has received so much attention. It links a relatively private person to one of the most recognizable movie franchises of the 1980s and 1990s.
It is worth keeping the distinction clear, though: Neil Canton’s film career does not establish Miles Canton’s own occupation or career. There is insufficient reliable information to conclude that Miles works as a film producer, actor or filmmaker simply because of his father’s profession.
Miles McFly and Brooke Schofield
Miles McFly’s public profile is closely connected to Brooke Schofield, the social-media personality and podcast host known for Cancelled with Tana Mongeau.
The couple became publicly linked around October or November 2024. Their relationship initially remained relatively private, with Schofield sharing limited information about him.
That changed in June 2025 when Brooke publicly confirmed their engagement.
On June 26, 2025, Schofield announced the engagement on Instagram with a series of photographs from Cabo and the caption “Engagement-moon.” TMZ reported the announcement the same day, identifying Miles McFly as her fiancé.
For followers of the Cancelled podcast, this relationship explains why searches for Miles McFly, Miles Canton, and Brooke Schofield’s fiancé frequently lead to the same person.
What Does Miles McFly Do for a Living?
This is one of the areas where online biographies can be misleading.
There is no sufficiently strong public evidence to confidently identify Miles McFly’s current occupation. Some websites speculate that he works in media or has followed his father’s path into entertainment, but those claims should not be treated as established facts.
His father’s Hollywood career is documented; Miles’ own professional career is much less clear.
A trustworthy biography should therefore say that his occupation is not clearly established in reliable public reporting, rather than assigning him a profession based on his family background.
Miles McFly’s Early Life and Background
Very little about Miles McFly’s early life has been documented through strong public sources.
Some biographical profiles identify the United States as his birthplace and report that his mother is Marie Jacqueline Spicer and that he has a sister named Gabrielle. Famous Birthdays also records a 2002 family appearance at a Back to the Future DVD launch event.
Beyond those details, the public record becomes considerably thinner.
Claims about his schooling, childhood experiences, exact upbringing and other private biographical details are frequently repeated online without sufficiently reliable documentation. Those claims should not be presented as established facts simply because they appear on multiple websites.
For readers researching a Miles McFly bio, the lack of information is itself important context. Being a public figure’s partner does not automatically make every aspect of his private history public or verifiable.
What Is Confirmed vs. What Is Uncertain?
Because Miles McFly’s name has generated substantial social-media discussion, it helps to separate the stronger evidence from the weaker claims.
| Topic | What can reasonably be established |
|---|---|
| Name | Entertainment coverage identifies him as Miles Canton and/or Miles McFly. |
| Brooke Schofield relationship | Publicly linked since late 2024. |
| Engagement | Brooke announced their engagement in June 2025. |
| Father | Reported to be producer Neil Canton. |
| Back to the Future connection | Neil Canton is associated with the franchise as a producer. |
| Exact birthday | Not reliably established in the sources reviewed. |
| Exact age | Commonly estimated at about 38–39 in 2026, but not firmly verified. |
| Occupation | Not clearly established through strong public reporting. |
| Detailed childhood history | Limited reliable public information. |
This distinction is particularly important when researching influencer-adjacent personalities. A claim can become widespread on TikTok, Reddit or entertainment blogs without becoming independently verified.
What About Online Rumors Concerning Miles McFly?
There have been social-media allegations and discussions concerning Miles’ past relationships, including claims about his age and alleged relationships involving younger people. Some entertainment outlets have reported on those allegations, while Brooke Schofield has publicly responded to discussion surrounding them.
Because these claims involve private individuals and disputed accounts, they should not be presented as established facts without reliable evidence and direct documentation.
The same caution applies to attempts to use those allegations to calculate Miles’ birth date. A social-media allegation is not a reliable substitute for a verified birth record.
For an accurate biography, the useful distinction is simple: documented relationship milestones can be reported; unverified allegations should remain clearly identified as allegations and should not be converted into factual biographical details.
Is Miles McFly Related to the “McFly” From Back to the Future?
Not in the fictional sense.
“Marty McFly” is a fictional character from Back to the Future, played by Michael J. Fox. Miles McFly is a real person associated with the name Miles Canton.
The interesting real-world connection is that Miles is reported to be the son of producer Neil Canton, who worked on the Back to the Future films.
So the similarity is more than a random coincidence in internet discussions, but the precise reason Miles adopted “McFly” as his online name should not be treated as confirmed unless he has explained it himself.
Is Miles McFly Married to Brooke Schofield?
Brooke publicly announced their engagement in June 2025.
Later 2026 online reports have described the couple as having married or eloped, but reporting is not entirely consistent about the details. One later feature describes a Santa Barbara elopement, while other sources continue to describe Brooke as engaged.
Because of that inconsistency, it is better not to state a precise wedding date or ceremony details as fact unless supported by a direct announcement or stronger primary documentation.
Why Are People Searching for Miles McFly?
Most of the interest in Miles comes from the intersection of influencer culture, celebrity relationships and his unusual family connection.
There are three obvious reasons his name attracts searches:
- Brooke Schofield: Her large social-media following brought Miles into the public conversation.
- The McFly name: The apparent connection to Back to the Future makes his identity particularly searchable.
- His privacy: The less information available about someone connected to a highly visible influencer, the more curiosity tends to surround them.
That combination explains searches ranging from “Who is Miles McFly?” to “Miles McFly age” and “Miles McFly birthday.”
The irony is that the available evidence does not support the highly detailed biographies that some search results suggest. The most defensible profile remains relatively short because much of his private life simply is not publicly documented.
